Who Will Win the Ugly Jacket?

It's a great day to be a sports fan.

At the end of the day someone will be the owner of the ugly green jacket depicted above. Barring an out-of-this-world round from Tiger, it's looking like someone from the field will take this one. My money's on Jim Furyk, whose three shots off the lead.

There's baseball on the dial all day. For the Bombers, Joba makes his first start of the season, and his first since crapping all over NYC ...and Yogi Berra. The Yanks have won three straight, in large part to new-comer Nick Swisher.

By 7:30 p.m. (est), all the Stanley Cup Playoff match-ups for the first round will be set. Although the Wings-Hawks game (2:00, NBC) is technically meaningless, I expect a solid game as both teams prepare for the playoffs. Pavel Datsyuk needs 3 points to hit the century mark.

The last game of the regular season features my Broadway Blueshirts visiting the boys from Broad Street. While it's a meaningless game in the standings for the Rangers, the Flyers need a point to lay claim to the home ice advantage vs. the rival Penguins. Big game for Philly.
